It sounds awesome . . . until you get to the bottom line.
Cons
Website says this software is 100% FREE forever with NO STRINGS attached. CNET says the trial is free for 7 days or you can buy it for $1.99. When you read down thru the boilerplate that hypes this software you find this: "So what should you do now?
Give CRM Business Machine Lite a try.
It's 100% free to download and use forever.
There are no strings attached.
Once you download this amazing software you will realize how much faster, efficient, and simple this "out-of-the-box" software really is.
DIRECTLY after that little spiel, you get to choose either a $4.99 monthly subscription or to buy it outright for $99.95.
There is NO OPTION for freeSummary
$4.99/mo. sounds pretty reasonable for this software, so, why have an internet presence promising that it will cost you nothing EVER, REALLY!!! Then, offer only options that you have to enter a credit card for? If a company can't even manage their site well enough to avoid this sort of confusion, what is to make me think they can manage my contacts, or for that matter, that I'll be able to get them to stop charging my credit card when they screw everything else up?
