Pros
It works like it's supposed to be. There really isn't anything else to say. It has a small footprint I suppose.
Cons
Very minimalistic. You'll usually understand it more if you're really educated.
Summary
There's nothing to it. It's a no-frills program showing your system and hardware information. It does not install any virus or malware. You have the option to disable installing the Conduit search in the CNET Installer.

Pros
It works and shows PC information
Cons
It is very bad software to silently install www.conduit.search.com into your browsers. When clicking new tab in browser, it re-routes your window to www.conduit.search.com. Please be careful and don't download it, otherwise you will get trouble.
Summary
This software includes virus - to install www.conduit.search.com into your browser's settings.

Pros
Small program that provides a lot of good information about your system. I wanted to see information about my system memory and it showe me that and much more.
Cons
None. Works as advertised.
Summary
Reviewers are complaining about malware and programs when you download this program. Just about every free program tries to add something at installation. You have to be proactive and carefully watch your installations for these programs. Pick "CUSTOM" install and not "RECOMENDED INSTALL" when prompted and you can opt out of the crapware. Hope this helps.

Pros
The app itself is very informative
Cons
Unfortunately, the creator has now seen fit to try to sneak in as much junk software during the install as possible. You have to be very careful. I was trying to minimize my browser when I accidentally clicked on one of the ads on the page--my browser was immediately hijacked. Home page was changed, search engine changed, it added an extension. This is ridiculous.
Summary
This is what I call a truly dishonest company. Avoid the app.

Pros
It is a simple program that does exactly what it is supposed to do: analyze my CPU. I have installed it successfully on two computers.
Cons
It does not actually DO anything. It just provides information.
Summary
It has not harmed either one of my computers. It has given me accurate information that I was able to research.

Pros
None - didn't run it
Cons
Installs malicious programs
Summary
This download is not the program itself, which is how it passed the virus checking system. What it does is download and install another program that installs the product and also adware into all your browsers and malware on your pc. I had to go through a long and tortuous process to remove it from my browsers and hard disk.
I discovered this when Avast threw up an alert that two malicious programs were detected, by which time it had already installed. Obviously this is designed to bypass the blocking mechanism of anti-virus systems.

Pros
Simple GUI
Easy to install
NO malware
Does what it says
Cons
No execution tools, benchmarking etc
Summary
Simple yet intuitive diagnostic tool, provides a plethora of cumulated data and that is ALL it does.
I don't understand why there are reviews stating there are "Viruses" and "Malware" etc within the installation, there are not.
There are many many legitimate "programs" that are flagged as viruses by more common avs, after all "viruses" are mereley programs and scripts themselves and often they are not "viruses" at all, this is a common misconception.
Try installing for example AVG while running an instance of Norton 360 and watch while Symantec tells you that AVG is a Virus!!
Clearly you have installed a third party "Toolbar" using the CNET DLr instead of the "Direct Download" link under the big green Download Now button.
If you are not technologically savvy enough to understand the reasonings for stating such, then you have NO use for this particular tool!
