Pros
Originally, I liked the way it gave the possibility to either burn data music, or plain music for older CD players.
Cons
Has not (at least I did not find it) a leveling track volume as MediaMonkey does, and I find annoying in a car for example to have to lower or to raise the volume.
I don't really like its users' interfaceSummary
A good product all in all, but there are better ones on the market for free.

Cons
May not be the simplest interface for those who do use file managers.

The pro is that contrary to other systems, this one also allows you to burn the disk in a non data fashion, so that you can play it on non-data reader i.e. car, whilst saved in MP3 mode.
Cons
Found yet none.

Summary
I recently had to reinstall the Express version of Nero that came with my pc. The minimal installation was somewhere between 650 to 700 megs. I uninstalled Nero and installed a copy of Roxio's software. I didn't notice the install size, but, I did notice that there was a plethora of installed drivers (with AutoRunS). I went looking for something free and light that would just burn cds (which is all I really need... no need for a label maker/disk speed checker/backup manager/calorie calculator/whatever-on-its-way-to-functional-obsolescence-feature). CDBurnerXP came up first in my search... it installed in a snap (whereas Nero took a couple minutes). Works *perfectly* and has a decent amount of configurability.

32-bit version always worked for me in the past and so does the 64-bit version now, does everything I need and has a clear interface.

People that mention incompatibility with their drives should realise that the incompatibility is a windows 64-bit driver problem and not a problem caused by CDBurner XP -

Mind, I haven't used it for all that much. Burning ISOs, creating data cds, that kind of thing. But it was very intuitive, quite pleasant to use. I've been using various versions of this software for several years now, and see no reason to switch.
