  I just started my own business. Business-in-a-Box was recommended by one of my University teachers. I'm very glad I bought it, saved me a lot of time and attorney's fees!

  I'm 67 years old, now running my own consultant business (need lots of different documents). I'm really not good with software and computers but Business in a Box is so simple to use, even an old timer like me finds it easy!

  Pros

  I see here people talking about version 2013, but they have a new version on the website for Windows 10. It's really quickly to install and I could check if they had the docs I needed. Very useful stuff there. I did not have any problem to activate after purchase. They offer additional users and lifetime updates with a discount on the first purchase.

  Cons

  You cannot purchase just one doc or two. You must purchase the package, but anyway, it is a one time purchase for a reasonable price.

  Summary

  I recommend this product. Specially because you can install the demo and check the docs before you purchase.

  Pros

  I have been a very satisfied user since 2004! So great they keep improving Business-in-a-Box year over year - better interface, new documents, new functions. I don't know what I would do without this very useful resource!

  Need to reactivate after upgrading Windows, but the customer service is very responsive!

  I tried other services like RocketLawyer or LegalZoom. The thing is, you can get Business-in-a-Box for the price these companies charge for one single document? it's a no brainer!

  Looked great but did not try it because it looked to complicated to use.

  Cons

  Ok, the reason why I gave it 1 star is because I installed their program into my computer and every 5 minutes or so a box pops up saying if I want to upgrade and it does not stop so I had to uninstall and delete all the files. They just want your money. It really got on my nerves and a company annoying as this one does not deserve 5 stars.

  The product offers a huge assortment of contract templates.

  Cons

  They say that these are professionally create templates and although they give that appearance once you actually take the time to read each and every word you would never know that in fact a large portion of the documents put you at extreme risk. I expected documents that focused on a win win agreement scenario, but found that the language and the terms used are in favor of the entity on the other side of the desk and not me. Some of the stuff is so poorly written I began wonder how bushes they had to beat to find the high school dropouts to write the contracts.

  Summary

  In my opinion, people should seek real legal advice, hiring a lawyer will cost much more; but what price can you put on some peace of mind. Staples offers most do it yourself documents that are a lot better than the stuff offered by BIZ TREE. Alternatively, a person might try speaking with a paralegal for the standard templates used for whatever legal requirements required and forget about the BIB junk. I found free products on the internet that are better than BIB offers for my particular need.

  30 DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE IS MISLEADING I work in Canada. These documents are overwhelmingly convoluted. To make them legally actionable they require significant re-wording. I looked at a NON DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT. I needed to send a copy to my lawyer to have a quick read before issuing it to a client. So I bought the app, based on the pretense that there was a 30 day money back guarantee in effect. He came back with a lot of changes, so we ended up just developing our own. I then looked at a few more documents and asked for feedback. All came back with similar comments, overwhelming "wordy" and complicated. So within 10 days, I asked for my money back.It was DECLINED, BECAUSE I USED THE SOFTWARE. But 30 DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE would mean that I would get my money back if I didn't like it within 30 days of purchase (WHEN I PAID THEM THE MONEY) . It is not when you pay the money but when you download the test software. SO I was doomed as soon as I installed the trial package.

  Summary

  Easy to navigate and lots of documents. BUT THEY ARE PRETTY MUCH USELESS IN CANADA. More importantly, THIS COMPANY MISREPRESENTED THEIR MONEY BACK GUARANTEE. I don't about $200-300 bucks at the end of the day. But I was taken for a RIDE and you SHOULD NOT BE.
