Though this program enables the user to browse the Web by way of an anonymous proxy, some patience is required in utilizing its IP masking facility. Browser Fortress Online Privacy, Security, & Anonymity will not only hide your IP address for Web-surfing privacy, it blocks annoying pop-ups and ActiveX Controls for easier browsing. Though it takes a few minutes to test the proxy server availability, it's worth it. You can select a proxy near you or add your own. A prompt will inform you if the proxy you've selected isn't available, and you can simply choose a new one. In addition, this application will clear your histories, caches, temporary Internet files, and cookies. The interface is relatively boring, but this is still a highly effective privacy tool. Browser Fortress Online Privacy, Security, & Anonymity offers a trial period that ends after only 2MB of data transfer; nevertheless, users looking to maintain online privacy should give this program a try.Publisher's description

"Spyware is far from "ANONYMITY," folks!"
Pros: was unable to use it, due to details listed below.
Cons: My Norton Internet Security 2006 picked it up as a "HIGH" risk spyware, which was found in Browser Fortress. It classified the following: Overall risk impact is HIGH, performance risk is HIGH, Removal of the program is HIGH, stealth is high, and last but not last, the biggie, "PRIVACY, which is also HIGH RISK. So this product does NOT provide privacy, but does the opposite. Norton classifies it as a Spyware. Security response from Norton states: ComSurveilSys is a sypware program that logs keystrokes, captures screenshots, and monitors Internet activity. The gathered information can be sent to a predetermined email address. Do you want this on your workstation or network? Spend your money and use "Proxy Switcher Pro."

"do not download this program.but if you do this is how to uninstall it"
Pros: i hate this program.i tried to uninstall it and it was still there.but the good thing about this website is you can find a lot of useful tools.like what to use to uninstall this program.
Cons: what i had to do just to remove this software i first had to download ashampoo uninstaller.installed it. reinstalled browser fortress to get it recorded by ashampoo, and then i used ashampoo to uninstall it completeley off the computer. this really isnt a review, just more of a what to do if you need to know.it took me a little while to find out. i hope this helps somebody because i was getting frustrated.
