From Blue Security :Blue Frog actively fights spam and makes spammers leave you alone. Blue Frog automatically reports your Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo spam directly from Firefox. Your spam is analyzed by Blue Security experts that identify the Web sites advertized by the spam you receive. The Blue Frog desktop application then proceeds to post complaints on those web sites by browsing them and filling forms they contain. Complaints are anonymous and do not reveal your identity. Filtering spam is not enough. Blue Frog protects your e-mail accounts or your entire mail domain by making spammers remove all Blue Community members from their mailing lists. This release supports Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo! Mail but currently doesn't support the new Yahoo! Mail Beta.

Pros: None
Cons: Blue Security (blue frog) says they will spot spam messages. But 2 months later after I installed it and gave them my email address, they gave me a message saying that they will spam me!! Unbelievable! Over a million users got spammed thanks to blue security!!!

"Blue Frog no longer in operation"
Pros: It WAS a gread idea.
Cons: The company ceased anti-spam operations. No wonder I couldn't get it to work! Go to bluesecurity dot com to read what happened.

Pros: Good idea gone bad!
Cons: My email has been hijacked/spoofed, whatever you choose to call it. Is now being used to spam addresses worldwide. I resent this, no effort to correct has been made nor has Mozilla (proud sponsor of Blue Frog) bothered to put a caveat on their site. Those that still think it's great, good for you. Find a legitimate site with competent personnel or simply ignore the spammers. We will probably eventually be listed as a spammer, that's unfortunate. I cannot begin to adequately say how much I resent Blue Security and Mozilla/Firefox.
