This free game might be simple, but it still packs a formidable challenge. You might think of Blobs Peg Solitaire as an update to the time-tested formula found in games such as Chinese checkers. Your goal is to jump small and slimy green blobs over one another to remove as many as possible from the board. If more the one blob remains at the end of the game, you don't pass that level. The game offers 100 game boards varying from simple to near impossible, which ensures that it will provide entertainment for quite some time. The feature set is rather small, but you can choose to adjust the sound effects volume and play levels at random to spice things up. The Flash-based graphics are about what you'd expect from a game like this, which is to say they're not amazing, but not bad either. Really, our only real complaint here is that installing the program clutters your PC with a few extra desktop shortcuts. If you're a puzzle fan looking for a free way to kill some time, Blobs Peg Solitaire will be right up your alley.

Developer's Description

Leave only one blob on the board to win.
Blobs is our own rendition of Peg Solitaire and HiQ, popular thinking games similar to Chinese Checkers. The object of the game here is simple: as you jump blobs over each other, the blob that you jumped disappears. To complete a level and advance, you have to end up with only one blob left on the board. Sounds simple enough, but there's a catch. You can only jump a blob directly over another that is within an adjacent position. Version 2.052 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
