Publisher's description

From Bitstream :

The Charter font family by Bitstream is a collection of type that works well as a small text font. Its characters have small, Egyptian-style slab serifs that increase its legibility at smaller point sizes. Charter also has separate bold and italic descriptions, giving the font a clean look regardless of character formatting. The download contains both TrueType and PostScript font files.
