Bed's Printer Switcher is a small utility for Windows XP that enables automatic switching of the Windows Default Printer depending on what network you are connected to. It installs into the system tray and can be configured to exit after switching a printer. I generally have it start it up with windows, 60 seconds later it will change my printer to the appropriate one depending if I'm at home or work and then go away.

Switches default printers within a minute of signing onto a different network.
Cons
No Help or Readme.txt file to explain the configuration settings.
Summary
If you play with it long enough, you can get it to work. I was able to get it to work on my Windows 7 Home Premium laptop after several blind stabs at the configuration, and changing the settings on my computer to run the software in Win XP compatibility mode with Administrator permissions. Also, it only appears to be able to control the default printers on 2 networks, the ability to use more than 2 would be nice, but for free software I can't complain too much.
