Editors' reviewCapture your infant's important moments with this electronic baby book. With Baby Diary you can create entries for multiple children and track everything from prenatal history to baby's first steps and other milestones by selecting the desired category from the simple diary tree listing. We found the interface a bit puzzling, but eventually figured out how to use the menu bar to add new records or move them by dragging and dropping them between categories. You also can add pictures and videos, though the trial version doesn't allow you to modify or add categories. A height and weight feature tracks baby's progress with graphical charts, but the program lacks a much-needed wizard or user guide. It's much easier to create a Web book: select the option from the File menu, and a single click generates your page with three possible formats. Despite some flaws, Baby Diary offers features any doting parents will appreciate.
Organize every bit of information about your babies in a single place. Photograph your baby's first steps, document growth and automatically create weight and length charts, track dental and vaccination schedules in a convenient way. Create Web photo albums or full featured blog sites of your babies without needing to learn the mechanics. Baby Diary is a modern-day replacement for the diaries of the past. Some ten years ago, parents had to use pen and paper to write down their baby's weight and length, mark dots and draw charts by hand.
