Publisher's description of Atomic Cannon Mac
Scorched earth type game with over 85 weapons of mass destruction! In this strategic tank artillery duel you battle against computers or friends on 25 destructible landscapes. Players take turns aiming and firing at each other. You can blast your enemy with a vast array of weapons. Some weapons create landmasses you can use to your tactical advantage to hide behind as cover. Your arsenal is outfitted with numerous types of weapons including guns, bombs, missiles, rockets, and nukes.
The landscape you battle on is randomly generated each round and can be destroyed in real time for real scorched earth. There are six types of land formations including flat, hill, gulley, plateau, slope, and random. Each formation can be in one of the game's 25 diverse environments.

Version: Atomic Cannon Mac 2.6
"Not a new concept, but yet offers a frenzy gameplay"
Pros: The overall graphics are good enough to provide a real joy using the multiple weapons available. The gameplay interface allows to choose between an instinctive handling(with arrows and mouse use) or a more academic style (with a dashbord at the bottom of the screen).
Cons: Not a lot of movement possibilities, moving being provided by a special "weapon".

"Reminds me of a game I played on an Apple 2c in 1984."
Pros: Graphics were decent. Weapons were well done.
Cons: Boring. Old hat.
