Version: Artemis Lite 1
"Prior Spyware Claim Is False"
Pros: The claims made by the reviewer, EnglandVillages, in his review titled "Terrible! Users Beware, Riddled With Spyware" are false and vindictive. There is absolutely NO Spyware of any kind in this Program. I have used it now quite successfully for over a year, and have found it to be excellent in every respect.
Cons: None! It is great software, and deserves to be given the credit it has been given by other "honest" reviewers.

"Most "reviews" for this "software" are BOGUS (proof)"
Pros: First, this software is buggy.
But even worse:
The author of this software has "interns" post reviews here. Here is the email he sent out:

After using it, go back to Download.com and leave a review.

Starting on the 2nd line of the email, list the text of the review you left.

"Ineffective... and these reviews are bogus"
Pros: OK - it's simple enough to use - you just have to fill in a few text files and rewrite your article three times. It seems pretty easy and the whole process went smoothly.
Cons: I submitted a month ago and this has had ZERO SEO effect - not one article has shown up anywhere on the net. Now, maybe these things take time, but in my experience in article marketing, it doesn't take so long. I realise the list of article sites is reduced, but I expected at least one to show up.
Also, none of these reviews are honest. Mr Brausch is obviously posting them himself or getting someone else to post them. I had no spyware issues (or none that were flagged to me), but this software is NOT all it's cracked up to be - and I'm happy to retract that comment if I notice any SEO benefit in the future. So far, though - very disappointed.
At least it's bloody free, eh?

"Great intro to James Brausch's software"
Pros: There are 2 reasons to download this and give it a go.
1. If you are getting started promoting your articles.
2. If you want to get an introduction to James Brausch without paying for his other software. His sales pages make a lot of claims about how easy his stuff is to use, and yet powerfully clever at the same time. Compare this article submitter to the rest and you will see an example of how he lives up to those claims.
Cons: It only promotes to the internal list of Artemis Lite. You don't get to put in your own list of submission places. That's what his paid version ie ArtemisPro is for.

"For article marketers: unique way of beating Google's duplicate content penalty."
Pros: This very clever software actually takes three different versions of your article and rearranges them by swapping out different paragraphs to give you multiple versions -- sometimes hundreds! No more Google duplicate content penalty! Also, there are online video tutorials to help you get the most out of it. This is really a helpful tool. It's going to save my writers countless hours each week.
Cons: It submits to hundreds of publications, but for modifying that list you need the paid version (also well worth it).
