Art of Illusion is a free, open source 3D modeling and rendering studio. It is written entirely in Java. Many of its capabilities rival those found in commercial programs. Highlights include subdivision surface based modeling tools, skeleton based animation, and a graphical language for designing procedural textures and materials.

What's new in this version: Version 2.9.1 includes A few new textures and materials in the library, a few bug fixes, and includes minor UI improvements.
