Editors' reviewAlthough we've seen our fair share of underwater-themed screensavers, this one stands as a unique example. True to its name, the program places a tropical-fish aquarium on your desktop. What makes Aquarium 3D special is it uses a number of camera angles to display a variety of perspectives. For example, one angle gives you the action from the bottom of the tank, while another shows the aquarium as it might look if you were standing in front of it. Still, other camera angles follow the fish as they swim to and fro. Graphically, the screensaver is very impressive, and we really enjoyed the vivid color scheme. While the bubbling sound may be repetitive, it is quite realistic. If you want to customize the screensaver, you can disable the sound effects and any camera angles you don't care for. If you're looking for a nautical-type screensaver that's a little out of the ordinary, we suggest you dive into Aquarium 3D.
Exotic fish in their natural habitat at your home--this exclusive 3-D aquarium screensaver makes it possible. Watch the flame angelfish or try to find the clown fish hidden among the waving purple base anemone, colorful tube coral, and stone coral. This screensaver gives you an unusual perspective of the fascinating and lively underwater world of the tropics.
The camera doesn't just navigate around the outside of the aquarium, it actually follows the fish in the aquarium. There are nine views in all. Version 1 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
