Users acquiring applications from outside sources may have problems with the installation process on older Android devices. Unlike in newer versions of Android, in which the operating system automatically installs an APK file, in older versions another application is needed to start the installation process. Apps Installer for Android provides this service in a clear and comprehensive way.
Apps Installer for Android downloads instantly. The program is very light and functions well. The user interface is very basic, though. On large, high-definition screens the graphics appear pixelated and washed out. After an application has been saved on an SD card it is then located and opened. The program operates in the background and will automatically work when it is needed. The only real problem with this program is the fact that it is very outdated. It only has one function, while most file managers include this function within the program. File management programs usually have pretty decent graphic interfaces, as well.
For users with older devices, Apps Installer for Android may be the answer they are looking for. It has a functional, low-profile user interface, and consumes very little CPU. Most users, however, will find this program a bit too limited and unimpressive. We would only recommended it for users with Android 3.0 or lower.
