  Conversion speed is fast and the output video is of high fidelity . I am pleased with this program.

  I think this video converter is a must have tool for Mac users, it surprise me with its fast speed.And I can watch the high quality video on my iPhone.

  Expensive, not intuitive, and limited in scope. Nothing special. Google "free video converting software" and see what you get. Your options are plentiful. Just look at your options on TuCows alone...then check out the people at sourceforge.

  Look into the free programs out there, and pass on this one.

  After downloading the product, I realized I would have a big watermark on my videos. I decided to purchase the full version to benefit from the software. 1. After completing my payment, I had to send an email request to the company to receive my serial number + id because they didn't send it as mentionned on the website. 2. After trying to register with the codes they provided, I got an error message. I emailed them back, and they asked me to delete it, download it again, etc. 3. I tried SEVERAL times all the methods they proposed(which included changing my computer's date backwards and checking my internet connection ???!!!) the software still failed to work, and I was never able to register, 4. Fed up of this back and forth nonsense with AppleMacSoft customer service (an email service by the way, so no way to actually talk to anybody) I ended up asking for a full refund. 5. I sent at least 3-4 refund requests to 2 different company emails, and they simply chose to ignore me. Bottom line: THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM, DON'T BOTHER PURCHASING A LICENSE FROM THIS BOGUS COMPANY!

  Pros

  It says it converts mkv files. The last program I used didn't do this correctly, but it was a one-step program and fast. This one converts in two steps and it works, but didn't keep the file's subtitles.

  Cons

  Confusing. Interface not very straightforward for someone unfamiliar with video conversion like me. The file I tried took a long time to convert to a quicktime file, and I had no idea how long it was supposed to take without some type of notice, which would have been nice, because I started thinking that maybe my mac was freezing up or that I messed up and was screwing up my mac. Converting from quicktime file to mp4 was slow as well. Having to go through multiple time-consuming steps is tedious. Then again, maybe this is normal? I wouldn't know, actually. The program converted my file, but without the included subtitles, which is, for me, just as bad as no conversion at all.
