"If you buy one don't upgrade to 3.1.3"
Version: Apple iOS 3.1.3
Pros
Lots of potential, lots of apps.
Cons
Prone to glitches.
Summary
I'm having the same issue.
I've tried restoring my brand new 3GS to 3.1.3 7 times both in dfu mode and recovery mode (from two different computers with itune 9.1.0.79).
Resetting Network 8 times.
Tried going to AT&T twice and they tried changing the SIM twice.
(NONE OF THIS WORKS)
Its been a week now and.
I just bought it (working), upgraded, and now it's not working.
I can't believe nobody knows about how to solve this glitch and apple new firmware is 100% to blame. -
"Bug still there."
Version: Apple iOS 3.1.2
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
3.1 introduced a bug, which is still there. Smart play lists end up on the iPod Touch in random order. Whether I arrange them in iTunes by name or play duration, either ascending or descending, the order on the Mac is not the same as on the iPod. This bug was not in 3.0 -
"Upgrade"
Version: Apple iOS 2.2.1

It was smooth, fast and flawless. I have had no problems thus far. I have had every smart phone made to date and this is the only one that every did everything, not perfect but as close as I have seen.
