"Would NOT Update"
Version: Apple Logic Pro 9.1.6
Pros
As far as I am concerned there were no Pros since this update would not work.
Cons
I have Logic Pro 9.1.3 and the update would not do its thing.
Summary
Would NOT Update with this update.
Updating this review so others will be aware of the problem I experienced. I had problems updating Logic Pro, because I had renamed the app. In order for the update to work with no hitches the app's name HAS TO BE "LOGIC.APP" Once I renamed it to that the update worked like a charm. Excellent.

"GREAT DAW !"
Version: Apple Logic Pro 9.1.5
Pros
Very nice, powerful with good features, lots of audio tools, loops, plugins etc. Good sounds and easy editing audio, midi etc.
Cons
A few small bugs, but nothing that'll keep you from your work/music.
Summary
A great tool for pro musicians, producers and song writers.

"If you do music on an Apple, no reason NOT to have it."
Version: Apple Logic Pro 9.1.4
Pros
First, it's made by Apple and works seamlessly with the hardware. Then, it rivals ProTools as an audio recorder, while costing thousands less. PLUS, it includes samplers, synths, effects, works w/video? The pros seem endless.
Cons
If you think there are any cons with LogicStudio, you probably don't know much about the history of recorded music (or much about LogicStudio).
Summary
Buy it. Use it. Thrill yourself and the world.

"Apple Logic Pro 9.1.3 is for me is highly professional."
Version: Apple Logic Pro 9.1.3
Pros
It is beyond any recording system available.
Cons
There are no flaws for a experienced sound recording engineer.

"Makes it easy and quick"
Version: Apple Logic Pro 8.0.1
Pros
I love how all files are grouped together in a folder, that I can copy to the server after working on music, for EASY backup and restore. I use the software to compose music, and Logic lets me make notes of song details in line with the music.
Cons
No complaints
Summary
As a composer, I can take a song idea from start to conceptual finish in just minutes to hours, depending on number of tracks desired. Once I name the song, a new folder is created with the name of the song and ALL relevant sound files, including MP3 bounces, etc. all organized. It is easy to back this up by dragging the folder to the network server for peace of mind. The folder can be copied to other MACS also running Logic so mixing can take place at another location (very convenient in a network situation).
samples of music I am creating using LOGIC PRO 8 can be found at www.stacsounds.com
The DAW is powerful. I can load movies into the time line with an audio track automatically created, so composition with video is possible. Mixing with an automated faders board is simple. I use a Tascam 24 channel mixer. A ton of effects are available to sweeten and correct sound, not to mention the boatload of Apple Loops, the percussion is most useful to me.

"Powerful but unfriendly and glitchy..."
Version: Apple Logic Pro 7.0.1
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I'm switching from DP4. I appreciate the host of features. But the transition has not been intuitive at all. I wish the program was more Logic-al in its interface. There are a few bugs (e.g. audio dropouts during bounce/export, metronome clicks when turned off, waveburner won't import files or say why not, etc. etc.). Hopefully, it will continue to develop under Apple. -
"Great evolutionary update!"
Version: Apple Logic Pro 7.0
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Great update to a good product. If you use an older version of Logic (formerly Emagic Logic), you owe it to yourself to check this one out.
If you haven't had a look at Logic before, now is a good time to make up for that.
Stability is excellent!
