Anim-FX claims to help you create animated text effects such as Flash introductions and animations, but it's difficult to evaluate its claims because the trial version disables most functions. The only things you can do in the trial program are add text, change its color and position, look at the different animation themes, and close the program. The limitations are particularly vexing because the procedure for saving and uploading your animations appears to be slightly complicated, and those features are not available in the trial version. The program does have plenty of attractive animations, complete with sound effects and up to five lines of text. If you find yourself making a lot of simple banners or splash screens, the registered program might be worth the investment.

very limited in what you can do with the animations. I have seen better tools that lets you do much more to make banners stand out. couldnt load an image and only 5 text lines. dont waste your money...... I think the editors review says it all

Proprietry script system is messy and incompatible with the best web design package out there WYSIWYG Web builder 4. Non-standard SWF script base files mean you can't just load an SWF into your design software. You need to cut and past HTML code into your designs to get to play properly. Unsusable if you need your text to stay up on the screen after appearing. Works as advertised ONLY if you use all 5 lines of text fields (Weird as what are the chances of needing exactly 5 lines of text?). Stuck with one font. No user manual. User instructions are inconclusive and spread out over their confusing amatuerishly designed website. There is litle point in having great looking effects if one is uable to have a minimum of control over modifying the paramerters.
The developer claims to have great support, but I found that if you have a problem, one is simply ignored until numerous attempts to question functionality. Repeated request for a refund where ignored by the Credit Card merchant and refused by the publisher. I guess they figure less that $30 isn't going to be persued.

The product includes, birthday, eastern, Halloween, etc effects and it's rather easily to update these effects for each festive period by simply adding another swf file to your website, as all the data is stored in a text file.
The cost is only US$27 for 72 quality templates

"Sleek, But dissapointed."

Definately a nice program, easy to use, lots of effects, you can add effects to your words , add sounds, make it look like a professional made it. Can write up to 5 lines of your own text which was nice. Also has a nice library of sounds, very detailed. And my favorite thing was that you could change the volume of the sound. Different fonts and sizes and position placing was also a nice touch.
Cons
I had a problem with the trial versions restriction being that you cant save the file, a 15 day would be nice. Also Not being able to insert a picture or put in effects for the background was what really dissapointed me. I would love to be able to maybe add lightning in the back and have my text do a different effect, or something of that sort. Finally what most dissapointed me was that you cannot have a different effect for each set of writing.
