The program's interface is well-designed and intuitive, and we liked that it walks you through the program setup with a wizard. This is where you can specify what you plan to use the program for; the options include Personal, Professional & Business, School, Family Records, and Passwords & Bookmarks. The main interface of the program has a tree hierarchy in a pane on the left, with a main viewing pane displaying folders or the notes within them. It's easy to create folders for new and existing topics and to add new notes. The actual note interface is very much like a basic word processor, with options for formatting and even attaching files. AllMyNotes Organizer also comes with a powerful search tool that has optional filtering, making it easy to find exactly what you're looking for. We especially liked the fact that users can password-protect either individual folders or the program's entire database, ensuring that sensitive information stays private. The program's built-in Help file is well-written and thorough. Overall, we think that the program is a great way to record and organize those little bits of information that are important but easily forgotten.
