This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />App works great in my home with wireless network. Outside Wi-Fi and 3G will not connect to server. Have spent many hours troubleshooting my Belkin Router setting up both automatic connection and manual port forwarding, firewalls off, DMZ enabled, without success. Belkin 2nd level support verified that all entries were correct-they spent over an hour troubleshooting the issue.. Used the troubleshooting guide on the developer's website as well. The same setup works perfect with the SlingBox App. Would urge anyone to try the free App first to see if their router/network config. is OK., especially since Internet use is listed as "experimental" in the settings.

I started using this recently to stream video from my Mac to my iPod Touch, and was hoping for an update for iPad, which came promptly. It does a fantastic job, although it won't work with DRM-protected files. But if you have a lot of video you've encoded using Handbrake, this is how to use them without having to load big video files on your iPhone or iPad. Highly recommended.
