If you're looking to escape to the era when dinosaurs roamed the Earth, then this excellent screensaver is for you. Age of Dinosaurs 3D takes you on a whirlwind tour of a prehistoric landscape, populated by such ancient lizards as Tyrannasaurus Rex, pterodactyls, and triceratops. The application's camera pans around from many angles, giving you all kinds of views of the highly detailed creatures and the world they inhabit. The movement of the dinosarus seem quite believable, and although the sound effects can get repetitive, they definitely add to the ambience. You won't find a huge feature set, but the ability to change the time of day is especially cool, allowing you to check out the dinosaurs under the early-morning fog or by the crimson glow of dusk. For a screensaver this graphically impressive, we were surprised that Age of Dinosaurs 3D consumes very little memory. The demo will subject you to a nag screen, but it's fairly small and unobtrusive. We urge anyone who's fascinated by dinosaurs to download this screensaver.Publisher's description
From Gelios Software :When the screensaver opens, you'll feel like you're flying over lakes, past tropical vegetation, and right up to prehistoric beasts. The camera moves around a near-realistic 3D world (complete with fog and rippling water) and lets you observe several of the most famous dinosaurs, including the Tyrannosaurus Rex, Stegosaurus, Brachiosaurus, and Pteranodon. You can select the time of day or leave it on the random setting and watch as night engulfs the dinosaurs. The screensaver allows you to choose from multiple screen resolutions to achieve the best performance on your machine. With your stereo sound card, you will hear dinosaur sounds. However, if you happen to have a sound card with a four-speaker system, you will experience more authentic-sounding audio effects. If you want to know the current date or time, the screensaver can display this information.
Version 7.9 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Version: Age of Dinosaurs 3D 7.9
Pros: Nothing - looked like a great deal, have little children and they were looking forward to it. Will not install.
Cons: Installed on two different computers - Do not download, I am in IT and investigated the issue, appears to not be Windows friendly. These were Vista machines but I do not think that was the issue, this is just a screensaver after all.
