The app is a DJ utility for seamless track mixing. Problem with other mixing utilities is that automatic detection doesn't detect BPM properly for some songs, especially with broken beat (hip hop, break beat). Here you can adjust BPM value manually looking at PCM graphics. You can make approximate BPM detection by clicking mouse and then precise detection in manual mode. Automatic BPM detection is also supported, which is actually sometimes enough for techno. Benefit of semi-automatic BPM detection that it is even possible to mix even Rock, Jazz (Live) music where BPM may change during whole song, or song has silence gaps or changes of tempo during composition. Main idea was to create an app without thousand buttons and scrollbars, which are impressive of cause at first glance, but gets user to think of the question "Now how should I just make something simple using this galaxy starship panel". At the same time I was trying to implement most needed features. The app doesn't really imitate real life dj decks, but uses some advantages not beeing just a copy of club dj decks, but also beeing computer program. There is a plan to add global BPM database in future version, so it won't be needed to detect BPM for each song. Yet another advantage is that AdmixDJ seems to be cheapest in line of pretty same funcionallity software. You will not see 1000 buttons user interface, it just plays music.
Original semi-automatic BPM detection. Very precise, usefull for songs with non constant BPM. Global cloud BPMs database. All detected BPMs are in safe place, can be accessed any time on any machine connected to Internet. Works on any slow machine.
Still in beta stage. Minor gui bugs. No media library. No samples support. No recording from mic.
