Easy to use
no support anymore
Good, basic program that's easy to use. However, the options are extremely limited and the maker's website is now being run by an ISP. The link inside the program is dead. It's a good little freebie for learning the bargain basement basics of 3D but it's useless for actual work.
Concept is good
The program is hard to use and offers a restricted choice of plants
Does not meet my needs. I have removed the program completely from my computer.
This software is the easiest to use. It also has a 3D effect so you can see your home all around. Its the perfect landscape design for the new to landscaping users. Very easy to use, lots to choose from. You will want to buy it!
The trial version doesnt have all the accessories you would need to do a complete landscape. But what it does have is usable, you get the idea. I have no cons except that the software in its entirety is expensive.
Best to use product on the internet, easy to use and learn. Free trial to try before you buy, great 3D effects after using the 2D to landscape. Truly a great product if you are not into using CAD or looking for a professional type landscape software. This is the the do it yourselfer, most definately. But you will want to purchase it. This is a great product!!!
easy and give me good landscape
This was so easy to use my four year old (who can't read yet) created a design within 30 minutes of 1st seeing the program. My six year old had no trouble with her 1st design either. They are using it for fun. You can even put Christmas Lights on your house, view it at night & with snow. What fun. Needless to say, it's easy enough for us adults to use. I liked the free trial enough that I will purchase this. I found it very easy to use & fun. Would like to be able to design the interior of the house.
Wish you could import new objects & photos. Hopefully that feature is coming.
very slow, can not copy and paste, very few types of plants, flowers, trees, ect, there must be a better program out there.
Relatively easy to use.
Lacks grid lines view; unable to create elevation detail; missing advertised features
easy to install
- Hard to use
- Only good on fast new computers
- Small selection of objects, plants and trees
- STICK WITH GARDEN PLANNER 2.0
This is a great program for laying out ideas quickly. Worked for me on the 1st try and after minimal reading I was running all out. At first you might get the impression you are extremely limited in functions (for example cant draw steps for a deck), but by layering items over each other at different height nearly anything can be accomplished. So many of these programs require so much of the user you just get frustrated, this is not one of them. If you are just trying to get ideas, this is worth the time!
While there was nothing I didnt like, this is not the program for you if you looking to calculate a materials list, do complex deck design ( no curves ). Also plant library and material finishes are somewhat limited. Like I said this is strictly for laying out and getting ideas.
