Despite innovative extensions to the classic Pac-Man concept, 3D Dragon Maze doesn't quite fulfill its promise. Instead of a small yellow circle traversing a maze, your character is a big, puppet head that floats around a garden. Instead of avoiding colored ghosts, you have to avoid dragon heads. The idea of 3D Dragon Maze is the same as that of Pac-Man: eat until you die. You can eat the dragons after you swallow a special power pellet, but if they eat you, your character shrieks in despair. Unlike the arcade classic, this version takes advantage of the third dimension by letting you jump over them. Although graphically the game is much more modern than Pac-Man, functionality is lost in translation. Whether you're in the main menu or in the game itself, response is extremely sluggish. Gamers looking for a modern Pac-Man variation may enjoy 3D Dragon Maze.

Publisher's description

From Gelios Software :

This is an attractive advanced version of classic arcade game. You explore maze leveles, collect bonuses, running and jumping in hot pursuit of the funny dragons. Uniquely designed challenging levels include big scrolled mazes with open and closed doors, traps and different dots which can grow. You need to jump over dragons and traps, and open the closed doors by key to advance to the next level. You can lure dragons to trap to kill them and get extra points. Every Dragon has uniquely behavior, including a fast or slow speed, ability to open doors and to jump over traps. You can even scare some of them and they will place extra purple dots. The game comes with classic easy controls and you can adjust the game speed from casual to advanced users. Like office card games, you can select the random mode to play randomly game levels. The neat 3D graphics, funny sound effects and wonderful music immerse you into attractive game world.
