PROJECT: PLAYTIME is an asymmetrical multiplayer horror game that immerses players in the eerie environment of the Playtime Co. toy factory. In this game, six players take on the role of 'Resource Extraction Specialists' who must work together to collect parts and assemble a massive toy, all while being hunted by a single player-controlled monster. The game incorporates unique gameplay mechanics such as the use of an extendable hand tool for solving puzzles and traversing the environment. Players can also unlock various cosmetic items, enhancing their characters and adding a layer of customization to the gameplay experience.

The game features a distinct 6v1 structure, where coordination and teamwork are crucial for success. Each monster offers a different playstyle, including speed, stealth, and mobility-focused abilities. The Playtime Co. factory setting enhances the overall atmosphere with toy-themed antagonists and a variety of industrial corridors. Audio cues play a significant role during chases, while the visual design captures the essence of the franchise.
