ZabCabs fairy god-coders have given our Cinderella app a makeover (with the help of some talking birds and mice, of course). Some highlights:Our name: You loved the sound, but not the spelling. Poof - ZabKab is now ZabCab.Our logo: You liked the whimsy but the font was complicated. Now ZabCabs logo matches our smooth and simple service. Our sign-up process: Just enter your first name, phone number, and email. Thats it. Short and sweet. Our user experience: The new ZabCab replaces our frumpy beta version that was always going to stay in the friend-zone. ZabCab got contacts, lost the braces, and is feeling saucy. The buttons are bigger, the text is cleaner, and the little cabs are cuter. Our notifications: We know you want to be watching a video of kittens, not checking your phone obsessively. Now you can close the ZabCab app and well send you automatic push notifications when your taxi is confirmed, nearby, and when it arrives. Or, if your kitten likes to watch the little cab coming towards you on the screen, you can both track your drivers progress on the map in real-time. Now that sounds adorable. Our way of connecting you to a cab: ZabCab was originally optimized for New York Citys specific hailing laws. It was a launch of legend we were the fist e-hail app to hit the market, thousands of drivers downloaded the app, and everything was smooth sailing until the regulators decided to stop all taxi apps in the city. From that experience, we rebuilt our app to provide direct communication between driver and passenger that eliminates uncertainty and unnecessary middlemen. As ZabCab rolls out to dozens of cities, we look forward to bringing this great system to your city. The taxi driving industry: Okay, this wasnt our doing, but a lot has changed. Taxi drivers are realizing that more people are booking a ride with their smartphone than ever before. More taxis using ZabCab means more cabs at your fingertip and less cars circling needlessly. Its better for you, the drivers, and the planet. Our Reviews: Now raise your virtual voice and tell us how our app worked, rate your driver, or share what makes for a great ride in your opinion is it the soundtrack, the speed, or the scenery? Together we can all make getting a taxi a smooth ride.
