TuneIn Radio provides access to countless radio stations from all over the world, searchable by location, category, or program type. Listen to whatever's playing live, or access tons of archived episodes of your favorite shows and podcasts to stay entertained all day long.

Pros

Tons of options: No matter what you're interested in listening to, you're sure to find plenty of stations playing it in this app. You can search for a specific station, browse local options, or look up a specific program and listen to previously aired episodes.

Favorites: Since there are so many stations available, you don't want to have to search through them every time to find the ones you're looking for. By adding stations and podcasts to your Favorites list, you can access them quickly when you want to listen to them.

Clear streaming: The audio quality on all of the stations we tested was great. There were no skips or interruptions that we noticed, and the volume was normal.

Cons

Ads: There are banner ads integrated into the interface between the bottom Navigation tabs and the screen where listings appear. This placement makes it possible for you to mistake an ad for part of the app or just tap it by accident when you're trying to hit something else.

Bottom Line

This app works great, and it's free, so the mildly intrusive ads aren't much of a drawback. So whether you live in a place without good radio options, or you just want to mix it up a bit, this is a good app to try.
