From shapes to circuits

It provides a workspace where you position, scale, and combine shapes to form models using device-optimized controls. Objects can be grouped, aligned, mirrored, and modified through shape adjustment handles. The platform accepts imported STL, OBJ, and SVG files, allowing you to adjust existing geometry or build on previously created elements. An AR viewer projects designs through supported devices, displaying scale and orientation based on the 3D file data within the workspace.

The software includes components for assembling virtual circuits using a library of electronic parts. Arduino and micro:bit boards can be placed in the workspace, where wires, sensors, and modules are connected using pin-accurate layouts. Code editors allow text-based or block diagrams to control microcontrollers. Component properties can be inspected and adjusted, letting you observe how values influence circuit behavior. However, it requires continuous internet connection.

Tinkercad Codeblocks generates shapes and structures from block-based instructions, allowing geometry to be created through defined parameters. Each block controls aspects of scale, rotation, repetition, or placement, producing 3D objects that update automatically as values are modified. Classroom features provide dashboards where educators distribute activities and track assignment submissions. Co-teachers can be added to manage groups, while integrated lesson plans outline step-based tasks covering 3D modeling, circuits, and coding
