Stroke or Brain attack is a preventable leading cause of sudden death and it is one most common cause of chronic disability. There is FDA approved highly indicated medicine (thrombolytic agents) available for treatment of stroke. But unfortunately only upto 4 to 5% of stroke patients manage to receive this wonderful medicine. One of the major hurdles being they (patients) dont reach Hospital/Stroke centre within the golden period (window period) of symptom onset, which tragically increased mortality and morbidity.
