SOHO Contacts is the most powerful contact manager for Mac OS X. Use it to manage relationships with your clients, family, and friends. It supports all the conveniences of a modern contact manager including phone dialing, call logging, automatic relationship links, auto-completion, map generation, iCal event and to-do linking, etc. You can attach unlimited call logs, notes, follow-up appointment, tasks, and documents to contacts. Best of all, you can synchornize your contacts between multiple computers, cell phones, iPod's, and Palm handhelds. SOHO Contacts is as equally suitable for the sole proprietor with a single computer as the small business with a few dozen networked computers. This all new contact manager is based on a commercial database engine for high-performance and reliability. Its client/server design makes sharing contacts over a network easy for workgroups. Mobile users can take shared contacts with them when they disconnect from the network, so they always have access to the shared information. When they reconnect to the network all of their changes to the shared contacts will automatically synchornize with the master list of shared contacts.

what the last reviewer posted is EXACTLY the kind of support you will get from this company (Adam is the only emplyee i think). he is rude, obnoxious and couldn't care less about helping customers. he lies. he said a converter to convert from older versions of SOHO (used to be calle organizer and consultant before that) would be out in a week or two at MacWorld, as of now still no conversion tool and i am certain none will come anytime soon b/c Adam couldn't care less about his customers. STAY AWAY FROM ALL CHRONOS SOFTWARE - YOU WILL BENEFIT GREATLY FROM THIS ADVICE. i have learned the hard way (with my own $$$$) i am hoping to save you yours....
Interesting idea, but not ready for use yet

Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />SOHO Contacts is part of a suite of applications designed to work closely with OS X and its ssynchronisation services - effectively promising a superior function to the built in Address Book and iCal arrangement, but preserving compatibility with these so you get the best of both worlds etc.
In general the apps appear to deliverr on their promise - and it is clear that when finished these will be a powerful set of productivity apps - making it esasier for small groups to work on common activities together.. The SOHO NOtes app is particularly appealing, allowing for users to share access to files and other documents, and tag these to contacts in the ADddress book. Very powerful when it works. But...
A key benefit offered is the ability to synchronise multiple clients to one or more shared databsases - so you can share multiple address books and calendars among a small group.
Sadly although the software shows potential, it seems there are serious problems in tthe code used to drive the synchronisation process - both between apps on a single mac and between multiple macs. Not only do these prevent reliable synchronisation, they also can lead to data in AB or iCal being damaged.
Indications are that the writers are aware of the shortcomings and are working on a fix - but general levels of support seem low. Supplied docuementation is clearly written but not very comprehensive - particularly when the software goes wrong.
Keep an eye on this app - b ut wait for an upgrade before you try to use it as a real world app...
