Penetrate the SinTek fortress and stop Elexis from taking over the world.
Elexis Sinclaire, the beautiful but crazed CEO of SinTek Industries, is busy at work creating an army of genetic freaks to take over the world. As Colonel John R. Blade, your mission is to penetrate the SinTek fortress and stop Elexis from executing her sinister plans. This demo of the game, Sin, offers two single-player levels and two deathmatch levels. The game uses an enhanced version of the Quake II engine, which allows it to provide 3D environments with 16-bit color and advanced lighting effects. The game also comes packed with an arsenal of conventional and futuristic weapons, advanced enemies that can duck and cover if wounded, and more. You can even match up against friends (or enemies) over your LAN or the Internet in deathmatch mode.

Sin is a Shooter. No doubt. What Heavy Metal FAKK2 is for the Q3 Engine,Sin it is for the Q2 Engine. Sins Gameplay is typical for an Ego shooter,so don´t let us waste time about snse or nonsense of such a game. Sin runs smoothly and without any trouble on my Mac.Fine. The graphics are not up to date, ehhhhh...did you really expected a Q3 view based on the Q2 Engine ? For Q2 engine it is a fine game. The scenario and levels are big and designed very fine. Graphic-related to the Q2 Engine-is OK and nice. The sound of the game is a little bit muffy.Guys you were stinggy with the sound. This could be done better. And hey,Sin does not copy or rip of Quake2.Sin has licensed the Q2 engine of ID.They paid a lot of money for it. And at least,J.C.Armack-one of the heroes,is a nice credit to John Carmack of ID,who served us with DOOM and Quake Engines through all this years. Sin is a fantastic game. Unfortunately it never got the Status like the other Q2 engine based game, called Half Life. Halo,Unreal2 and Doom3 are waiting now to conquer the 3D-Market. In relation to this games,Sin is of course oldfashioned. But still nice to play. There is only one game,I wish, wich would have a Sequel. This is Blood Bath at Red Falls. But Sin is a nice alternative.
Highly Entertaining

Although the graphics are slightly dated, this is a good game. The gameplay is fast, with well-designed levels, and I would recommend it to anyone, except those who dislike profanity and gore. Although a bit easy, SiN is a very good game.

V. 1.1.1 didn't run on my German imac G3/350. V. 1.1.2 (got it from macgamefiles.com): only the first level worked (shooting the guys from my helicopter), the next one (inside the bank) just wouldn't load. I waited 5 minutes, tried it a couple of times...nothing. It's a pitty, it seems to be a good game (sarcastic humor), but it doesn't work on my computer.
