Lead a human rebellion fighting against alien oppressors.
Sachi's Quest is a first-person science fiction adventure, set in a very dark far future. You play as Sachi, an elite female agent fighting in a human rebellion against alien oppressors. When Sachi finds out about a threat that could wipe out humanity, it becomes her mission to travel from one planet to the next, leading to a final showdown on a conquered world known as Earth.
At first, I agreed with Ozscott's review, but then I went to the game's Myspace page and later decided to buy the game, mainly to support indie gaming. I wasn't expecting much after the demo, but the game was down to only $11, so I figured, why not?
<p>I'm glad to say I was pleasently surprised. Chris O'Connell should have put some of the higher levels in the demo instead of the 3 he chose. Some of the later chapters are much more fun and interesting looking than the first three missions, especially the astroid. Also, the mission editor in the full version is very cool. I can't figure out how to put bad guys into my own levels yet, but it is alot of fun to use the editor to move around and customize the existing missions.
Cons
I wish there were online play and more interesting weapons... But still, not a bad considering it is an indie game.
Summary
Overall, I think it's below average and not worth the download.

Pros
The shootouts with the foot soldiers can be fun (I suggest running backwards as you fire). I like that the ability to fly is part of the game.
Cons
The graphics and sound are somthing you would expect from a windows 95 game. The player's character moves too slowly. I would have liked a larger choice of weapons to start with.
