pureL is a learning aid which helps you memorise longs lists of words, sentences, equations, or anything really.
pureL challenges both your short term and long term memory.
pureL has been designed specifically for learning languages, but can also be applied to any subject where learning long lists of facts are required.
During a test you will be shown a random word, sentence or fact, and you must think of what the translation should be. You will then be shown the answer.
You then reply if you were thinking the correct answer or not. If you were correct you are LESS likely to be asked the question again. If you were wrong you are MORE likely to be asked the question again.
When both your scores get to 100% you pass that test.
The full version of pureL allows you too create your own list of phrases for any topic you desire.
As you pass tests, more words are introduced, and words you are sufficiently good at are no longer tested.
For older children or adults this app is fine to run by themselves. For younger children I suggest an adult supervise the child, perhaps with the adult reading out the question to the child and when the child says the answer the adult can press the cross or the tick accordingly.
The full version gives you the ability to create your own lessons with any sentences and words you want to learn. If you attend a class and are asked to learn a list of phrases, then you can type them into a file and pureL will teach them to you.
Because you create the text yourself, you are not restricted to learning a limited number of words, nor are you limited in the number of languages you can learn. You have the ability to learn any language or any other language you want.
Sample lessons provided include Hindi, English, Spanish, French, German and Sanskrit.
