PhotoJus Frame - Add border and frame to your photo for iOS

Plain old photos can be boring at times, so there are apps like Ace PhotoJus Frame that offer to spice things up a bit, allowing you to add a frame behind the image in one of many different styles and colors. While the app has some clever features and the interface is well designed, it simply doesn't do enough in its free iteration to provide the solution promised in the App Store.

Open PhotoJus and choose a photo (or take one with your camera). Then choose a frame from the bottom of the screen and it will be added to the background of that image. You can then save that image and it can be shared to any of the integrated services, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Sina Weibo, and of course your own photo album. There is even a button in the app that shows you all of the images tagged with "#PhotoJus" in Instagram, so you can see what other users are doing with the app.

By itself, as a free app, this is all PhotoJus does. With a paid upgrade, you can remove the watermark and use other effects, giving the app greater functionality. For those that like the frames and the ease of use, the paid option might make sense, but for those seeking an easy-to-use free photo-editing app, PhotoJus doesn't offer enough to warrant a download.
