iMyGoals was born out of a need to bring financial planning power to all. It empowers everyone in analysing their personal financial profiles and planning for their financial goals. The solution is available on the internet and is specifically focused to address the needs of Indians. What does iMyGoals do? It helps users understand their financial profiles. iMyGoals frees users from the calculations, allowing them to focus on their financial planning. Users can start planning by using one of four methods. Plan Step by Step: Use our wizard for step-by-step plan creation. Plan for a Life Stage: Choose an existing template and then add details to the plan. Duplicate Plan: Copy a plan previously downloaded to your computer. Start a New Plan: Start with a blank plan and then add details to the plan.

Users then need to add their raw financial information to the plan. These include financial goals, incomes, expenses, existing assets, loans, insurance and investments. Personal details like current age, dependents, retirement age. Preferences for asset types. Definition of an asset allocation profile. Custom inflation rate and asset return rates, if users do not want the default rates provided. The next step is the analysis of the added information. iMyGoals does the calculations and presents analysis for the users review. The analysis includes possibility of meeting goals, insurance projections and tax calculations, in addition to net worth and personal cash flow calculations. Users can then check if their goals have been met, review the projected net worth and cash flow over time, and study the recommended actions. Users can iterate through the above steps till their goals can been met in the plan. Finally, they can get their profile into a report in PDF format. iMyGoals is flexible enough to allow financial plan templates to be created as it allows the plan to be downloaded and shared with family and friends.
