We, Japan Housing have created a picture book for children. This book introduces sightseeing spots in Yokohama where our firm is located. You can enjoy yourself in the exotic city. While you are looking around the city using this book, you might like to come and see Yokohama soon! We have assembled a team of experienced consultants for this project. Included on that team are, Ms. Akiko Shimada, chairperson, of the Yokohama City Guide (NPO) and Ms. Pae Ann, chairperson of Kanagawa Sumai Support Centre. Both women are active in community support for foreigners, those visiting and living in Yokohama. Ms. Shimada previously produced a long running, successful, sightseeing program for Japanese T.V. called Bura Tamori in 2011. So we are confident that this book is beneficial and will assist you during your stay in Japan. No matter if you're here to sightsee or to live in this exciting City of Yokohama! The organisations motto reads: We want you to experience more joy in your life in Yokohama. NPO Kanagawa Sumai Support Centre It was created to help those with daily life in Kanagawa Prefecture. They assist citizens in the procedures for moving residence and getting adjusted to the new situation. Their goal is to educate the new comers to Japanese life style, so as to create a communicative environment to promote comfortable living for all. Yokohama Chinatown Development Association Introduces and provides authentic Chinese culture as well, and teaches the history of the Chinese and Chinatown of Yokohama. Their aim is to preserve the culture as well as the landscape of Chinatown for future generations. Japan Housing Co., Ltd. A real estate company that specialises in corporate housing management and real estate brokerage of foreign companies. We provide quality service and support foreigners during their stay in Japan, with work and housing; as well as helping them to prepare to return to their home countries. KAI OTSUCHI General Inc. Association This is an organisation created at Kansai University in conjunction with Iwate Prefecture, specifically, to re-build the hard hit tsunami areas of Iwate Prefecture by creating new employment opportunities.
