So, I found myself constantly logging into linux boxes... Checking network activity, disk usage, ifconfig, ps aux, df -H, uptime... the list goes on. I thought to myself: "a server monitoring app would be nice, shouldn't be too hard to find a decent easy-to-use app that integrates with Growl to notify me if one of my servers needs attention". Turns out, the application I was looking for did not exist. Don't get me wrong, it's tons of monitoring tools out there, but they're all too complex for a home server (in my opinion). As my quest to find an app was failing, I decided to write it myself. Key features: -Growl Integration -Processes Monitoring -Network Load Graph -Disk Usage -Uptime -Speech Notification -Low memory requirements for the server -Multiple servers -Lives in the menubar
