Heat exchanger calculator for Android

This app calculates heat transfer rate, inlet-outlet temperatures and heat exchanger size for a concentric-type heat exchanger, in parallel and counterflow configurations.

This app is intended as a educational support material for engineering undergraduate "heat transfer" course. It is based on theory taken from "Heat and mass transfer: Fundamentals and Application" book by Cengel-Ghajar, 5th edition, McGrawHill, 2014.

Main aim of this app is to show main influence of size, temperatures, type of fluid and mass flows on heat transfer rate. Do not use this app for purchasing/manufacturing a real heat exchanger (app logic may contain bugs). Instead, contact your supplier.
