No matter how many games I have played and finished I always want to go back and load fragile all over again. It takes some time to get to know the controls and to build up a good force... but trust me that is a fun part of the game. I won this game only once because I keep wanting to start over and see new challanges. How to beat this game use diplomacy to manuver out of hot spots. Take one alien race at a time and take it out fast and swiftly. Then kill all the alien bugs! This game is very alienist but we all are... arnt we?

I have this game on the amiga. Its a very good game.As good as frontier elite 2. This game is one of gremlin`s best this is an old game off the old amiga CD 32, and amiga computers. Most of the best pc games came from the amiga like dune, settler, eye of the beholder1,2,3, and frontier elite 2. Most of these games should be remade as most would like to enjoy playing them again. But as for K240 it was one of the amiga`s best its a shame the amiga went under as the amgia led the games world and the pc followed. Well its a old game now at least 6 -7 years old but games like this one blow away the megadrive in the 90s. well here is a cheat to get money type in loadsadosh and press enter.
Forget Sim-City ... this game leaves it for DEAD!!

By far one of the best strategy games i have seen in awhile, yes i HAVE seen a few and i'm not easy to impress. One of my previous all time favourite games was Civilization. Now it's Fragile Allegiance. BOTH of these games ( in my opinion ) walk all over games like Sim City Warcraft 1 & 2, Command & Comquer ( that'll hit a nerve ). Don't get me wrong ... all these games are very good and enjoyable for the fast paced quick kill and gore type personage but fail when it comes to hardcore strategy and realism. I will quietly admit that one of the latest games on the shelf ( Shogun ) does give it a run for it's money .... but i think the years between release dates speaks for itself. Yes folks THIS game is a keeper. One of those games that you keep on the shelf and play from time to time ( and it has been awhile considering the time since it was released ). An honest to God re-usable stategy game that will NEVER die ( heaven forbid ). *footnote* -- yes there are a few bugs in it and some would argue that they get annoying ( graphics minor instabilities and such ) however i believe that the game is still thoroughly enjoyable and QUITE playable. Buggy games are what you make of them and can still be played and be highly regarded >example< Daggerfall series by Bethesda Softworks. Now if your looking for buggy software .... look no further .... the bonus .... and it is a BIG BONUS is the game arena .... the game has the LARGEST fictional world created for an RPG and still does ( until the release of 'Never Winter Nights' *drools* ). Add to that the fact that it's an RPG and you can play the game through under many different and varied character clases and races. There you have one LONG lasting game to re-use over and over. I believe my point has been made. *takes a breath*

Fragile Allegiance is a space strategy simulation with in-depth and addictive real-time gameplay. Highly advanced artificial intelligence and a wide variety of missions and combat scenarios will challenge strategy gamers of all levels. In the year 2380, Sector K240 was made available for colonization by Tetracorp. The Empire must now expand, and it's the player's job to colonize the asteroids and save the Empire from financial and political ruin. However, recent disturbing events have come to light: a number of scout spacecraft have mysteriously disappeared. With the threat of alien invasion, the only chance for survival is to explore, expand, and quell any possible invasion to secure the Empire's future.
