Fault Locator for Android

This app is suitable for electrical power engineers especially substation protection and control engineers .

It is about fault location calculations and fault location estimation in transmission lines

This app uses line impedance and fault currents and voltages to calculate :

1: Impedance of fault in each phase.

2: Location of fault in transmission lines

3: Positive-, negative- and zero-sequence components of current and voltage

4: The zero sequence compensation factor (K0 , RE , XE)

This app also plots fault currents and voltages , Positive-, negative- and zero-sequence components of fault current and voltage

Line data can be entered in polar or rectangular form , primary or secondary

Line data :

zero-sequence impedance (Z0)

positive-sequence impedance (Z1)
