Fact Mountain -- Russian Literature for iOS

Allows quizbowl players to quickly learn the most common clues about works of Russian Literature from Pushkin to Yevtushenko. Can also be a study aid for HS/college courses and for standardized tests like AP exams. The app's three modes are:Mode 1: PLAY GAMEUSe autocomplete to select answers. Correct answers earn points based on clue difficulty and speed of answer. Game is to 250,000 points.Mode 2: STUDY RUSSIAN LITERATUREChoose one of the 36 works of literature and study all of its clues, ranked from hardest (40) to easiest (1). Use the hyperlinks to get extra information on each work --and to read most of them.Mode 3: USE FLASH CARDSSelect a flash card set, ranked from hardest (40) to easiest (1). Play the game, using only your chosen set of flash cards. Game is to 250,000 points.For most efficient study, we recommend using Mode 3, beginning with flash card set 1. After winning twice, move to flash card set 2, etc. Upon reaching flash card set 5, begin using Mode 1. Use Mode 2 as desired.
