EKR is a radio network which is passionately dedicated to music. You can listen live for free to any of our network streams through this EKR gateway application. More than just a basic player, this application displays tracks and/or shows that are "now playing" together with artwork and links to buy songs on the iTunes store. Our latest selection of channels (EKR-ROCK RADIO, EKR-NOW ZONE, EKR-RETRO ROCK, EKR-CLASSIC GOLD and the return of EUROPEAN KLASSIK ROCK are all available to listen to on this current release. Drawing on a vast database of over 100,000 titles that include classic, current and new songs from unsigned artists we are pushing the boundaries of radio to a new, fresh and inspirational level. Our stream bit rates are designed to suit most connection situations from mobile phones (even with a weak signal) to super fast fibre optic broadband. All of our channels have an option to listen in "better than DAB" quality. Some channels offer even higher quality AAC options and our flagship ROCK RADIO & EUROPEAN KLASSIK ROCK services have a studio quality 320kbs MP3 option. The new improved and updated "recent tracks" tracker takes the frustration out of trying to remember that missed song you've just heard, logging up to 10 of the previous tracks played, available on all stream channels.
