eXtreme Movie Manager offers a powerful organizational tool for those who have a collection of movies and TV shows in either digital or physical format. The download is easy and painless, with no add-on bundled software.
This application opened quickly after installation and comes with preloaded movie and TV listings. Beware that the actual movies and TV episodes listed do not come with the download. They are used as examples in the program. Users are able to create unique databases to which they can add movies, TV shows and actors. Movies and TV shows can be added manually, from a file, from a DVD, or by scanning a UPC code. You can rate each show and add as much detail as you desire. In addition, you can keep track of your favorite actors by adding their information in your database. The shareware version of eXtreme Movie Manager only allows you to list 50 movies or shows in your database, so for anyone with a large collection, you may want to register the program. You can launch your movie or TV show files from this program if they are digitally stored and connected to your computer. You can also connect this program to your smartphone app and to a cloud drive storage so you can access your files at any time from any device.
While this could be a useful program, eXtreme Movie Manager seems to still be a bit buggy. The program will occasionally shut down after choosing a feature, but for the most part, this program is easy for anyone to use. While there are plenty of music organizers available, it is difficult to find a good program, such as this one, dedicated to organizing movies and other video media.
