PaperCut Software was originally formed in 1998 as OSCURA and incorporated as PaperCut Software in 2004. PaperCut Software delivered its first print quota application for schools and universities in 1999, and entered the enterprise market with PaperCut ChargeBack in 2001. PaperCut Software's application now manages printing and internet use in tens of thousands of organizations in more than 60 countries.Today PaperCut Software remains a small software development company driven and managed by the founding developers.
