Model, animate, and render photo realistic 3D-scenes.
CyberMotion 3D-Designer is an integrated 3D-graphics program for modeling, animating and rendering photorealistic 3D-scenes, terrains and characters. It features a vast number of 3D modeling tools, a landscape designer including complex atmospheres, 3D-fonts, subdivision surfaces and boolean operations, hierarchical animation, inverse kinematics, skeletal deformation (skin and bones), global illumination rendering via photon mapping, ambient occlusion and HDRI-Rendering, and a host of special effects, such as caustics, volumetric fire, motion blur, depth-sharpeness, animated atmospheres, starfields, particle systems.
For a demo of a program, it is really cool. It has a ton of features that you will only find in a lot of paid software.
Cons
There are programs out there that cost serous money, yet don't have as many features at this program.

Summary
The author of this program passed away awhile ago, yet it still is available on websites, including this one.The problem is that there people out there that will try to make money on this software. To the family of the author, please release this program to the open source community. Require that whoever would finish it, rename it to separate it from the original, and hopefully, we will have a program that won't cost as much as others, yet will allow beginners as well as seasoned artists, ( I won't say users of MAYA, 3D Studio, Lightwave, etc in this. When you spend that much money, you better know what you are doing!!) to have a chance at learning 3D stuff.
Good Product, but no longer produced.

Pros
Excellent and fast render results. Nicely organized layout, and easy to move about on. Has a lot of features you wont find on other programs.
Cons
A bit of a steep learning curve. This program can not be registered therefore your saved work will be watermarked.
Summary
The author of this software passed away sometime back and it is no longer in production. Beware of anyone trying to get you to purchase it, because they can NOT send you a working reg. The author had his own system for doing that.
The ideal place to get into 3d modeling and animation.

Pros
A stable program that installs and runs without crashes or problems - plenty of other 3d programs can't claim that. This version has speeded up rendering quite a lot on my pc. Lots of clever tools and effects to play with.
Cons
Cybermotions modeling tools are not the best, it has to be said. The fact that the program has landscapes, particles, animation and a top notch renderer makes up for this. See site gallery for some examples of what can be achieved.
Summary
No 3d program can be learned in 10 minutes, the trick is to find a program that suits you and that will give you good results in a reasonable time. Cybermotion is aimed at beginners but has everything the more experienced user needs - all in one package. There are a lot of other 3d programs, plenty of them offer a lot of power but are given away for free! If you are going to spend some time creating 3d scenes and animations it is worth spending a little money to get the ideal program for you.
Powerful 3d program that a beginner can understand
Globalempire
Pros
Great new rendering tools in this version.
Cons
No new modeling tools in this version.
Summary
Its a fact of life that you have to do a little work if you want to produce good 3d pictures or animations. Cybermotion is a powerful and sophisticated program that gives great results. Its easier to learn than other 3d programs but still has many advanced features . Everything you need is there in one package - landscapes, particles, modeling tools, animator, renderer etc, Easy to follow 454 page manual with tutorials etc
very nice for just messing around

Pros
It is a free and high detailed, easy to use interface program.
Cons
it is pretty slow and you can't import object because there is no objects to import :P
Summary
I think this program is pretty amazing for being free and just for messing around but when you actually want to do something with it, such as, designing a futures house and actually showing it to someone and telling them to build it hahaha, not a good idea. designing for a game you want to make? not a good idea either because you can't do anything with it unless you plan to take a movie of you walking through the house and go through frame by frame deleting the tools and stuff so only the screen shows and then figuring out how to convert the video into a readable format for adding into a game and that would only be a video. thats a lot of work just for a video when you could do it all in an actuall program that knows what its doing. it also helps to know what your doing to
The ideal place to start in 3d

Pros
Cybermotion has been around for several years and each new release brings exciting new features. This time its volumetric clouds, displacement mapping, new primitives and improvements to the extrude/lathe tools etc. Cybermotion has everything you need straight out of the box - modeling, animation, rendering. The landscape generator and particle system are great. Learning 3d is not the easiest thing to do and there will always be a learning curve but Cybermotion is easier than other programs to get the hang of.
Cons
Cybermotion is not so well known as (expensive) programs like Maya or 3ds Max and there are no third party addons to give extra features. The modeling tools in this version have been improved a lot but there are still some surprising omissions.
Summary
Cybermotion - easy to understand and gives good results
Globalempire
Pros
There are dozens of 3d modeling and / or animation packages available ranging in price from free to very expensive. I have tried several programs, various prices, but have always come back to Cybermotion. I find that Cybermotion's interface is easy to understand and its possible to produce some very impressive results in a short time. Many great features including particles, atmospheric effects, easy animation, landscapes and advanced rendering options including global illumination. Version 13 of the program is due out in a few months, this will include volumetric clouds and displacement mapping amongst other things.
Cons
If you just wanted to produce models you would probably not choose Cybermotion it has to be said. There are a lot of modeling tools and they are easy to use but there are some glaring omissions. Taken as an all round program though Cybermotion is great.

Summary
An excellent all round program
Globalempire
Pros
There are so many features to try with this program. Apart from modeling there are landscapes, atmospheric effects, realistic fire plus the particle system is great. Look at the waterfall video on the website for a good example. Plenty of rendering options with global illumination, photons, caustics, ambient occlusion etc. Well written program that doesn't crash and just gets on with the job. Useful manual. Friendly users forum.
Cons
At first glance the interface doesn't look as modern as some other 3D programs, but it is very easy to find what you need. Really needs some more modeling tools.

Excellent Product

Pros
I tried the demo of v11, and purchased it within 10 days. I have version v12 now. When they release new versions..it is a new version of features, not just a hand full of "tweaks" This program has something for everyone. My favorite part is the animation editor..very simple to use. It can also create some amazing scenery. Well worth the price considering it can do what other much more pricey programs do.
Cons
A little hard to learn some features of it at first, but in time it all makes sense :o)
