Amadis DVD to iPod/PSP/3GP/MP4/AVI Converter provides a dazzling array of conversion options for DVD and video files. While copyright limits hold it back, this program still provides an effective tool for making new video files.
The program's interface was a breeze to navigate, thanks to its professional design and intuitive layout. We never utilized the Help file's instructions because we were constantly in control. We were able to add DVDs and video files to our queue and convert them to a more compatible file type. After conversion, we were left with a new file that retained all the original's material and quality. We were blown away by the program's many choices in file types, which were divided by player compatibility, including iPhone, DIVX, PS3, Apple TV, and well over a dozen others. The only snag was the program's inability to rip copyright-protected DVDs, which means most professionally released studio films are off limits. However, we were impressed with its lightning-fast conversion time for noncopyrighted material. We were also impressed by the program's editing feature, which allows you to slice and dice each video into the perfect length. Being unable to rip your own DVDs to your PC is a bit of a bother, but for the most part, this is a great tool for converting video.
Amadis DVD to iPod/PSP/3GP/MP4/AVI Converter only rips 30 percent of each video during the trial. Though its copyright limits were a drawback, its overall performance was great, and we recommend this program.
