Yawp is a not-too-serious iPhone client for App.net. The name comes from "Leaves of Grass" by Walt Whitman: "I sound my barbaric yawp over the roofs of the world." Display your user stream and mentions in one list. See a list of matching usernames when you starting typing "@xxx" while composing a new post. Upload images and include a link in a new post. Repost a post using the native repost, or repost and add a quote. Save incomplete new posts as drafts and resume them later. View annotations on posts, such as location, cross-post information, and custom client annotations. User lists show you if you are following a user and/or if they're following you. Attach a topic to a new post. View the topic of a post if it has one. Is a conversation getting out of hand, and you can't get out of it? Mute the entire thing.
