You can write names for your own battle teams before you start the game. Move the worm using right hand side (touch) arrow buttons. Aim by pressing left hand side (touch) arrows and fire using left hand side red button. Player has about 20 seconds to play in each turn. You'll also find additional enemies such as hostile ducks and snowmans in each level. These enemies can eat your worm if you get close enough so be careful. Try to find better weapons and destroy opponent worms. If you loose all your worms you loose the game. Good luck.
