  I cannot believe you guys still rate this at all, as well as other websited. They must be paying people for it, or writing reviews themselves, as they (wondershare) are a well known scam. So, it isn't even that the software sucks, but they offer NO real support, and NO refunds, but will go online and bad mouth the customer when we complain or contact BBB or they may even respond here to this. I fully expect them to.

  I purchased this to be able to combine PDF files. It does that EXCEPT....

  Cons

  ...when any of the PDF files to be combined are on a network drive. Then you get a "...failed to load" message which, to me, is the same as the program sorta shrugging its shoulders and saying, "Oh well".

  Summary

  The worst thing, though, is that the publisher had the audacity to hit me up for an additional $29 only five months after I purchased Version 5. When the program advised there was an update (or upgrade, I don't remember) and invited me to install Version 6, it did not mention that I would need to pay for the new version to avoid the publisher's watermarks on output files. I'm done.

  Trial version Watermarks fillable PDF forms created by others. My client wrote me and said "Don't download Watershare, it's crap. I just changed computers and was trying it out before installing Adobe Writer."

  Summary

  I am not a Watermark customer and never will be but I did prepare a fillable PDF form using my Adobe Acrobat Pro and sent it to a client to fill out the boxes. She used her trial version of Wondershare as she was trying it prior to installing her Adobe Writer. When she returned my PDF form, it had a big watermark across it with a button linking to their site where I could pay $70 to buy their product. I can understand watermarks for trial versions but not to watermark if the trial user is simply filling out someone else's form. I wrote the company and they finally replied telling me there was nothing they could do. So, instead of giving them payment, I'm giving them payback.

  Shaky and slow. Have never been able to update it. No support whatsoever. f there's a problem, try (very hard) to uninstall it.

  I had tried many PDF tool, FoxIt, PDF Nomad, PDFPen and PDFClerk... None of those offer the same feature set as PDFelement has,which perfectly fulfilled all my requirements.

  The trial version is horrible. There is very little you can do, including editing and printing with out buying, which it keeps prompting you to do. A huge waste of time. How can I know if I want to buy it, it I can't use it?

  Surprisingly easy to use, and unexpectedly satisfied without exception. I use the windows version but wish there was an android version to use on my phone and/or tab.

  1. submit for goes to outlook? 2. can not open a doc from email 3. can not even save a doc as an image 4. can not save a doc as a word document without missing all type of inputs 5. not user intuitive 6. useless for basic functions - email, to open, fill and form resend. why in the world cant someone make an intuitive software anymore

  PDFelement is a collection of PDF utilities including an editor.PDF´s are either merged scanned image files or "generic" files printed via a printer driver. The program handels both types well, extracting pages, merging PDF´s, converting to misc. file formats, creating PDF´s from images / Office files as well as creating PDF´s from scratch with forms, text, images, radio buttons etc.(File -> New -> Blank). Handling of "generic" PDF´s is almost flawless converting brochures, timetables to almost exact Office formats, editing such files also unproblematic. Scanned PDF´s is by OCR copied to an editable copy where OCR simultaneously in more than one language is possible.The result of processing a French document with German references was very accurate.Beforefore converting such a document to Word it was for me necessary to remove hidden objects (backgrounds?) from pages (easily done) to get a decent result.

  Cons

  The produced docx files load slow in my Office 2003 triggering Word to check formatting of the document first.By unticking a couple of options in Word this problem was solved (I do not remember how). OCR under the Edit tab works fine, while enabeling OCR under the Convert tab without first editing out hidden objects was not that good. Processing large scanned documents the program has a tendency to crash.

  Summary

  All in one tool with a lot of great functions.Nice interface.Will create PDF´s from scratch.Flaws will hopefully be corrected as time go by.Wondershare offer free lifetime upgrades.
